Bought the soup variety pk. They will be handy anytime they are needed. Just whip up some home made bread and you have a meal. I have not opened the containers rather put up for storage for later. My husband and I believe the Mountain House Shredded Beef is their best product. SafeCastle enlivened the products quickly and without damage to any of the cans.
I've tried other egg powders and this one is by far superior. I have used it in baking - works great. I have tried it straight up as scrambled on the stove - delicious. I would love to use this exclusively instead of running to the store for fresh eggs, but the price point of Safecastle doesn't allow for that. Wish they could bring down the price some.
