Stove Preparation (Optimal Method):
Beef Mixture:
Remove the potato pouch and ketchup from the package.
Combine 250 mL of cold water with the beef preparation in a pot.
Mix well and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes on low heat, stirring frequently.
Cover the pot, remove from heat, and let it stand for 10 minutes. Stir once or twice.
Potatoes:
Add 175-200 mL of boiling water to the potato flakes until desired consistency is reached.
Mix well and let stand for 2 minutes.
Assemble in layers and serve with ketchup.
Express Preparation (In-Pouch):
Remove ketchup and add 375-400 mL of boiling water to the pouch containing beef mix and potato flakes.
Stir thoroughly and seal the pouch.
Let stand for 15 minutes, stirring once or twice.

I had an alternate steak sent to me, where I added lemon juice and garlic with water to rehydrate. Then tenderized and made chicken fried steak, where it’s been years so it was very good.
