Canned Pork Chops in #10 CAN

Discover the exquisite taste of our dried pork chops, expertly trimmed and boneless. With a thickness of 1/2 inch and minimal fat, these chops are a culinary delight.

They are freeze-dried and packaged in cans & sealed in an oxygen and moisture-free environment.

Key Features:

  • #10 Can (Gallon size can)

  • 10-15 Chops per Can (Net Weight 22 oz)

  • U.S. Government/Military Surplus

  • Shelf life of 25+ years

  • No refrigeration required

Our freeze-dried pork chops were manufactured by a prominent military defence contractor for exclusive use by the Executive Branch. Sourced from a Defense Reutilization Office (DRO), these chops were specifically intended for strategic military leaders, members of Congress, and possibly even White House staff or leadership as part of the continuity of government plans.

At first, we were skeptical about these gourmet trimmed, boneless pork chops, but once we tried them, we were pleasantly surprised. Each can contain 10 to 15 succulent chops that resemble those found in the deli section of your local grocery store.

To prepare them, simply soak the chops in warm or hot tap water for 20 minutes, then cook. If left in the water longer, they become even more tender.

No shrinkage occurs during cooking, and we highly recommend giving these a try.

Storage Guidelines:

  • Unopened can: Up to 25+ years shelf life

  • Opened can (not re-hydrated): Up to 1 year in a Zip Lock bag with refrigeration or up to 60 days in a Zip Lock bag without refrigeration

  • Re-hydrated chops: Up to 5 days in the fridge

Canned freeze-dried pork chops provide a hassle-free and delicious meal solution. With no concerns about mess, waste, or power outages, you can conveniently open a single can and cook as many or as few chops as desired in just twenty minutes.

Whether you're camping, boating, travelling, or enjoying time at the cabin, these canned pork chops are the perfect companion for years to come.

How long are pork chops good in the fridge?

Pork chops are typically good in the fridge for up to 3-5 days after opening. It is important to store them in an airtight container to prevent them from drying out. If you are not going to use them within 3-4 days, you can freeze them for up to 6 months.
